Mother Earth Foods is an independent, natural health store located at 19th and Plum Streets in Parkersburg, West Virginia. We have expanded over five decades to offer a wide variety of vitamins and supplements, organic, gourmet, bulk, gluten-free and non-GMO foods, fair trade products, grooming and beauty items, apparel, jewelry, pet supplies, green living products and more.

Dave Hawkins, MH CNC
Dave Hawkins is the owner and CEO of Mother Earth Foods. He began his studies into natural healing in the early seventies. Exploring the eastern approach to wellness, he practiced yoga for many years. He became a strict vegetarian and investigat5ed the energetics of different foods based on traditional (Ayurveda, Chinese, Native American Indian) systems from around the world.
Dave is involved with the day-to-day operation of the store. He is known widely as "Healthy Dave". On Thursdays, he provides nutritional and wellness counseling from his office at the store. Master Herbalist and Certified Nutritional Consultant, Dave Hawkins provides holistic health services in a caring and personal manner with the utmost regard to your emotional, physical and spiritual integrity.
Education
We believe that an informed community makes better health choices. We offer FREE educational events (when weather permits).
